Vanilla Sponge Cake

INGREDIENTS:

½ cup of all purpose flour
½ tsp of salt
4 eggs
1 tsp of vinegar
½ cup of confectioners’ sugar
3 tbsp of milk
2 tbsp of oil
½ tsp of vanilla essence

PROCEDURE:

Take 8×8 inch baking dish for baking cake, grease it well with vegetable oil and line it with baking paper. Take 4 eggs in a bowl. Separate egg whites and add vinegar in it. Beat the mixture well. Keep beating eggs and add sugar in very little amount like 1 tbsp at a time. Beat this mixture until nice stiff peaks are formed. Now, with the help of spatula fold in the egg yolks. Add salt and plain flour in the egg mixture.Gently fold the whole mixture. At the end add milk,oil and vanilla essence and quickly mix them in the mixture with spatula. Don’t over mix. Preheat the oven to 180 degree centigrade.Pour the mixture to prepared baking pan,tap it on the surface and remove the air bubbles. Bake it for about 35 to 40 minutes. let it cool for 1 hour and after it cools down completely, cut the slices and enjoy!
