Breakfast is very important in our daily life. In week day it is hard to make time consuming breakfast but weekends are the days when you can make such breakfast which needs some extra effort. This recipe is a pretty much basic but you can add any variation to it. I like simple pancakes with little bit honey on the top but you can serve it as you like.
1 cup of all purpose flour,
3 tbsp of powdered sugar,
¾ cup of milk,
Pinch of salt,
1 tsp of baking powder,
Butter or ghee for cooking.
In a big bowl whisk an egg. Whisk it for 1 to 2 minutes. Add all purpose flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Now start adding milk in it. Add ½ cup of milk, whisk it gently. Then add remaining milk and just stir it. If there are lumps in it that’s fine but don’t stir it too much. Leave it for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Preheat your skillet on medium heat and when it’s ready add little bit butter. Now take 1/3 cup sized measuring cup, fill it with your batter and gently pour it on your skillet. Don’t touch it until you see some bubbles on the top and sides getting golden in color. When it happens, flip them cook the other side for 1 minute on medium heat. Serve with honey on the top and enjoy.
