chicken nuggets

Makes about 24 small size Chicken Nuggets

INGREDIENTS:

2 Chicken breasts (skinless and boneless)
½ tsp of salt
½ tsp of ground black pepper
1 tsp of red chili powder
¼ cup all purpose flour for coating
1 cup of breadcrumbs
Vegetable oil for frying
For flour batter
½ cup of all purpose flour
1 egg
¾ cup of water
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of red chili powder
½ tsp of salt
½ tsp of ground black pepper

PROCEDURE:

Take 2 chicken breasts in a bowl. Rinse them well. Shred chicken with the help of two forks. Put salt,black pepper and red chili powder in it.Mix well and let it rest for a while.

Flour batter:In a big bowl add flour,chili powder,salt,black pepper and baking powder. Mix them all. In a small bowl,beat an egg and add it into flour mixture. Slowly start adding water to the flour mixture and make a batter.

In two plates,separately add flour and breadcrumbs. Now bring chicken,flour batter,flour and breadcrumbs closer.Take about one tbsp of chicken and make a small ball.slightly flat the ball with fingers and place it in flour. Lightly coat it,take it out from flour then dip it into flour batter and drop it in breadcrumbs. Coat it well from both sides and place it in a clean plate. Continue doing that and make all chicken nuggets.Place all in refrigerator for about 1 to 2 hours.

In a frying pan,heat the vegetable oil at medium heat.Fry Chicken Nuggets until they become golden brown from each side.Serve them with ketchup and enjoy.
