Cheesy chicken stuffed potato balls

potato ballsMakes about 16 small size potato balls

Ingredients:

4 medium size potatoes
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of ground black pepper
1 tsp of chili powder
Water for boiling
Vegetable oil for frying

For Filling:

2 boneless and skinless chicken thighs
1 tsp of cumin seeds
1 tsp of chili powder
½ tsp of salt
½ tsp of ground black pepper
1 tsp of coriander powder
1 tsp of garam masala
1 tsp of Vegetable oil
1 clove of garlic(chopped)
½ medium sized onion(chopped)
½ cup of Mozeralla sticks
For Outer layer(crust):
1 ½ cup of breadcrumbs
1 egg

PROCEDURE:

Take a saucepan and fill ¾ th of it with water. Add potatoes in the cold water of saucepan, also a pinch of salt. Take the pan to the stove and boil potatoes until they become very soft from inside. one they are ready take out all the potatoes from the pan and let them cool for at least 5 minutes then peel them. Add salt, pepper and chili powder and mesh potatoes nicely.

Take a pan and put it on the stove. Add 1 tsp of vegetable oil in it. Heat it on medium heat. Add garlic and onion in it. Stir it well. Cook them for about 3 to 5 minutes or until they develop some colour. Now add salt, black pepper, chili powder, cumin seeds, coriander powder and garam masala in it. Stir it well. Take chicken thighs and cut them in thin short slices. Now add chicken in the pan. Mix it well. Cook them for about 8 to 10 minutes. When chicken is fully cooked, take off the pan from the heat and let it cool.

In a small bowl beat one egg and set that aside. Grease hands with some vegetable oil. Now take some of potato mixture, flat it in hand. Place 1 tsp of chicken mixture and 2 to 3 small size cheese sticks (about 1 inch in length) in the center. Carefully close it from each side and make a small size potato ball. Dip it in the beaten egg then in breadcrumbs and place it in a clean and dry plate. Repeat same procedure and make about 16 small size potato balls and keep them in refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Take a deep pan for frying these potato balls,fill it with vegetable oil and start frying.Fry all the potato balls for about 3 to 4 mintues.(Carefully handle them otherwise they may explode) and serve.
