Sony TV show ‘Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’ will wrap up in a week

Sony TV show Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage will wrap up in a weekThis month Sony Tv Canceled several shows. Yeh moh moh ke dhaage is one of them. Yeh moh moh ke dhaage is a television series comes every Monday to Friday 7:00 pm IST on Sony entertainment channel. This Tv Show is produced by Saba Mumtaz productions. This week all of a sudden shutting down of Yeh moh moh ke dhaage makes fan crazy as the story has just started. First of all Being a fan of ymmkd I have a request to producers and show runners that please don’t end this show, This is the best drama so far I saw on Sony entertainment. I think there is more potential in this show. In my views a purpose of good drama is that it should grab your full attention and during the whole episode you even don’t think of anyone else, even don’t wait that when it will end. When I started watching this drama, I was so addicted that I watch it again and again.

As far as story is concerned, well I think as a regular viewer it was a smooth sailing so far, whatever things happened in the story, it looks good on screen. The story and characters are very strong and I don’t feel any repetition throughout its run. If you are reading this article and you haven’t watched this show but you want to watch it then keep in mind there are some spoilers in this article.

The story set in a background of Gujrat. It is the story of a MUKHI (Raydhan Rajkatara) from a village background and a girl form city name as ARU (Aruandati Naravati) whose heart is filled with life and passion to do something in her life. I was in love with the drama as I saw the first contrast scene between both of them. Mukhi’s younger sister Mishri (Dhingli) insists that he should get married now, that is why Mukhi comes to city to find her bride at the age of 42. At matchmaking office they met Aru. Mukhi’s case was handled over to Aru. Mukhi called her “Gaurani” as they used to call a matchmaker “Gaurani” in his village. That was actually a quite funny. He makes fun of her as she is doing this matchmaking thing at the age of 22 while from his point of view this work should be done by some experienced person…

Well as story continues so many things happen in their life both of them. After a lot of struggle finally Mukhi’s marriage get fixed with the divorced women named Dharmi Di (Dharmishta), but at the last moment bride ran away with her ex-husband, and the in some extraordinary turn of events, Mukhi got married with Aru, I think that was very beautiful thing in this story line and thus a new chapter of their life started. In start their life had lots of ups and down. They don’t enjoy each other’s company but they also can’t live without each other for sure. Their Tom and Jerry fights are the best thing. After some time, they finally realize that they love each other. Well, for details you should watch this drama…I strongly recommend this drama.

Mukhi character is played by Eijaz khan and Aru by Niyati Fatnani. Both of them do justice to their characters. But seriously I just love each and every expressions of Mukhi ji. The way Eijaz khan portrait this character is very amazing and also very important as well. Usually it is difficult for viewers to connect with such a different couple. The best thing is persona of Mukhi ji and off course nothing can beat that. I will never ever forget that. The efforts they are putting in their characters can clearly seen on the screen and it was acknowledged by wide group of audience as well. Although there is no right time to end any good TV show but I think this is not quite a right time to say good bye to this serial as there is so much to explore in this story line. Locally, I am not sure why this show doesn’t get any good ratings, but internationally there is quite large audience especially in UK. If you ask for my point of view on this show, I think this serial is way better than the other shows now a days on Indian television. Off course this is my personal opinion. You can totally agree or disagree with me on that…

As far now on 17th August 2017, there are only 2 days left to say good bye to Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage and I am literally writing this with heavy heart. I am not in this position to say good bye. This is a token of appreciation from my side being a regular viewer of this serial. It is a request to the producer, creators, show runners and Sony TV to please do something to extend the show or reboot it next year, make a movie about it or something like that. I know many of you will agree with me on that. If Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage extends that will be very good for Fans but if it ends on this note, it will live in our hearts forever.

  • Yes, if you are in the right set of mind then this is probably is one of those show that is very clean, soothing and really able to enjoy. One that can be watched over and again with family and kids. Was really impressed that Indian television was really getting better and getting away from regular DIL and MIL soaps. Maybe this should be series and th next season comes back with more surprises and fun.

Don’t think Sony channel is serious about showing good serials like YMMKD. There has been such a strong reaction to its closure …surely that should have some effect….and maybe a Season 2 or some such thing can be considered ??
It is really difficult to believe that the TRPS are low..for such a fabulous serial. Something is seriously wrong somewhere….especially since it has done so well abroad ! V. Strange !

    • Hi ! Had sent a reply earlier…..not sure why it did not get “posted”….just to say that if some of us diehard viewers try and manage a sustained campaign to bring back YMMKD like they did with Kuch Rang Aise….then may there are slim chances of Sony considering a Season 2.. Nothing like trying ! Right ?
